Slumdog millionaire - Homework

Slumdog millionaire Through looking at the cover of the film, Slumdog Millionaire I get the impression that the boy falls in love with a girl and becomes a millionaire. From reading the overveiw on the back i get the impression that this is a story about a boy growing up and struggling through poverty. The plot does not have a definite turning point considering that the film is based mainly on flashbacks to the main characters youth. A very memorable is when the young children are having there eyes burnt out so that they are blind which allows them to collect more money while begging. The image of the blinding has stayed with me and is a very poignaint image. I felt very emotionally towards the the main character, Jamal, because he has suffered a very sad and dissapointing childhood and i felt pity for all the people living in poverty. I felt sympathy for Jamal because he suffered deeply in his love for Latika and followed her for his whole life. He had a troubling childhood

Bayona - Oscar Faura - Michael Giacchino - Bernat Vilaplana - Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard - Jeff Goldblum, Steven Spielburg - Jurassic park franchise - animitronics are utilised for the dinosaurs but also use some cgi to get the perfect picture - the film is in a franchise which first films are adaptations. - it is part of the Jurassic park franchise - Chris Pratt - the Director is a Spanish director who has worked on many Spanish films so he hasn't really worked with Chris Pratt - the film has very negative reviews and was not reacted to in the way that the procution comp[anby expected - reviews are negative saying that it was an unneeded sequel. -present - A remote desert island Isla Nublar - The film does not relate to real life events because it has a very abstract story line linking it the creation of dinosaurs which is not realistic -rescuing dinosaurs can link to the refugee

props - we can see the use of props attached the the bearded man who has a set of keys and a flashlight which leads us to believe that they have something that he has locked away which makes us think that he has many secrets setting - the pair are set in a childs bedroom which we are led to believe that it is the little boys room because he is in his pyjamas also we can see that the curtains are lit up which suggests that it is light outside or some form of light is shining onto the window hair and make-up - the older man has a unshaven face which could show that he is not taking care of himself and is letting his beard grow costume - the young boy is wearing pyjamas which shows that it is bedtime for the young boy lighting - there is a light coming through the curtains which lights up the back of the scene character expression/movement - the man has a face like where he looks like he is telling a story because the boy looks intrigued and involved and looks like hes just got out
